Onisi Kinoko Mushroom Alpha Rice 100 g (3.5 oz) – Instant Japanese Rice, Just Add Water, Made in Japan

Japanese rice seasoned with mushrooms, ready in 15 minutes with hot water. Onisi's kinoko gohan is mixed rice with beech, shiitake, nameko and cloud ear mushrooms, carrot and bamboo shoot, in a light dashi seasoning.

What is alpha rice?

Alpha rice is rice that has been cooked and then quickly dried, so it keeps the taste and texture of freshly cooked rice. Add water or hot water and it turns back into soft, ready-to-eat rice. No pot, no stove, and no cleanup: you eat it straight from the bag with the spoon inside.

How to make it

1. Open the bag and spread out the bottom.
2. Take out the oxygen absorber and the spoon.
3. Pour in water or hot water up to the water line inside the bag (about 160 ml / 5.4 fl oz).
4. Stir so the seasoning mixes well with the rice.
5. Zip the bag closed and wait: 15 minutes with hot water, or 60 minutes with water at about 59°F (15°C).
6. Open the bag, stir from the bottom to loosen the rice, and enjoy.

Be careful not to burn yourself when using boiling water. Do not eat the oxygen absorber.
