Onisi Portable Onigiri Rice Ball, Wakame Seaweed 42 g (1.5 oz) – Just Add Water, Made in Japan

Wakame seaweed rice ball, made in the bag. Wakame onigiri is rice mixed with salted wakame seaweed, one of the most familiar flavors in Japanese lunch boxes.

A rice ball you make in the bag. Portable onigiri is made from alpha rice: rice that has been cooked and then quickly dried. Add water or hot water, shake, wait, and shape it into a triangle without touching the rice, so your hands stay clean.

How to make it

1. Remove the seal on the front of the package.
2. Open the bag at trim line 1, take out the oxygen absorber, and spread out the bottom of the bag.
3. Pour in water or hot water up to the water line inside the bag (about 67 ml / 2.3 fl oz).
4. Zip the bag shut and shake it about 20 times to mix the rice and the seasoning.
5. Wait 15 minutes with hot water, or 60 minutes with water at about 59°F (15°C).
6. Keeping the rice in the bag, shape it into a triangle, using the photo on the bag as a guide.
7. Cut along trim line 2 straight across, then trim lines 3 and 4 diagonally, and eat it from the bag.

Be careful not to burn yourself when using boiling water. Do not eat the oxygen absorber.
